Results of the 2026 KPSS high school session, held on 25 October, are scheduled for Thursday 19 November 2026, according to ÖSYM's exam calendar. The score type for high school graduates is called P94, and the results will appear in ÖSYM's online results system, as they did for the associate degree session on 30 October.
KPSS is Turkey's Public Personnel Selection Examination, the test used to fill most civil service posts. The three weeks before the results matter to two groups: those who sat the exam, and those still holding a score from 2024.
What happens to 2024 scores on 19 November?
They expire. As reported by Memurlar.net, a Turkish civil service news site, 2024 high school scores lose their validity on the day the 2026 results are announced. The rule has two parts: results are valid for two years, but if no new exam is held in that time, the old score stays in use until the next results come out. Because the high school session only runs every other year, the 2024 score was carried up to this point.
In practice that creates a deadline. Some universities and ministries fill contract posts without interviews, purely by KPSS ranking, and each advert states which year's score it accepts. Anyone planning to apply with a 2024 score should do so before 19 November, even if the advert closes later. From then on, the 2026 score is the one that counts. For someone who skipped the 2026 exam, the next high school session, if the two-year cycle holds, is in 2028.
Can candidates work out their raw marks now?
Yes, until midnight on 4 November. ÖSYM published 10 percent of the basic question booklet and answer key on exam day, and the full booklet can be viewed in the candidate portal until 23:59 on 4 November 2026. Wrong answers carry a penalty: four wrong cancel one right, so 34 correct and 8 wrong give 32 net.
Turning that into a score is where guesswork starts. The score is standardised against everyone who sat the exam that year, so online conversion tables are rough at best. What the raw count shows reliably is which test cost the most.
How can candidates prepare for job adverts while waiting?
Learn the application channel before it is needed. Public contract posts filled by KPSS score often take applications through Kariyer Kapısı, the government's recruitment platform, or through the e-Devlet portal, and adverts commonly warn that an application without the final confirmation message is not considered.
A routine helps too. These adverts appear throughout the year with short application windows, and checking once a week on a fixed day catches more of them than checking whenever one remembers.
What if the exam went badly?
Wait for the score. With standardised scoring, a paper that felt hard may have felt hard to the whole hall.
The days before 4 November are better spent on the booklet. Re-solve the questions answered wrongly, this time without the clock, and sort each one into a group: known but misread or mismarked, or simply not known. A long first list points to attention and time management; a long second list points to gaps in content.
What comes after the results?
The new P94 will be valid for two years from its announcement. The high school session is not in ÖSYM's 2027 calendar, published on 28 October, so the score released on 19 November is the one for every public application over the next two years. The date is a planned one and ÖSYM notes the calendar can change, so the official announcements are worth checking in results week. How P94 is calculated is explained in KPSS score types P3, P93 and P94, and the three exam levels are compared in how the bachelor's, associate and high school KPSS differ.
