How Honeybees Live
(1) Honeybees live together in a home called a hive. One hive can hold thousands of bees.
(2) Each hive has one queen bee. The queen lays the eggs. Most of the other bees are worker bees.
(3) Worker bees have many jobs. Some clean the hive. Some take care of the young bees. Others fly out to find flowers.
(4) Bees drink a sweet liquid from flowers called nectar. Back at the hive, they turn the nectar into honey. The honey is food for the bees in winter.
